Remote Ready, or Millivolt, systems come standard with an on/off switch disguised as a log with manual variable height control and can easily be upgraded to operate with an on/off remote or thermostat remote that cycles on and off at the height you set to maintain a constant temperature without any guess work. Variable height remote systems offer the ability to set flame height with your remote control. Intermittent Pilot models offer it all- a remote that lights the pilot, turns the flame up and down, has two thermostat settings and offers two timers modes! Empire manufactures vent-free logs perfect for any application with sizes ranging from 16 to 30 inches and slender to massive log pieces. Logs in the White Mountain Hearth line are available in ceramic fiber and traditional refractory concrete construction; each set has rich detail that is enhanced superbly by hand-painting each log. All burner styles are available in natural gas or propane (LP) gas configurations. All White Mountain Hearth vent-free log sets are approved for use in any certified vent-free firebox and may be installed in a wood-burning fireplace with the damper closed to operate as a vent-free heating system.
